About Daria van den Bercken
Daria got a crash course in public speaking when she managed to win a huge audience after a sensational project. Within a month she was asked for her first TEDX talk, the Late Night Talk show Pauw & Witteman, financial and cultural supplements of national newspapers and radio programs such as Radio 1 Kunststof. The TEDx Talk went viral, which was followed by an invitation for a GlobalTED, which also went viral, her performance at Pauw en Witteman gave Daria a new career with companies as a public speaker and these clients also fell in love with Handel's music.
And after the first media storm and the radio program Kunststof, many interviews followed on national, international radio and TV. She has appeared on national radio and TV in the US, the United Kingdom, Belgium and eventually also became ambassador of the piano in the prime time program "De Piano" on RTL4 with Chantal Janzen, Roel van Velzen and Dominic Seldis. Daria also started her own podcast with writer Abdelkader Benali and in her concert the ease of public speaking seeps through.
Daria’s enthusiasm can break down walls and make an entire room that was unaware of it receptive to piano music. At the same time, she provides fantastic insights into how individual artistry and out-of-the-box thinking can innovate a stagnant world. Daria’s courage to step out of the traditional classical music world with the most diverse projects without losing herself or her audience, but in the meantime gaining a worldwide audience, is an inspiring story about talent, personal growth, belief in yourself and your team, autonomy, artistry, and perseverance.
